EID-UL-ADHA
The reason why we celebrate Eid ?
ANS: This festival commemorates Ibrahim's (Abraham) willingness to sacrifice his son to God. This festival also marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. Eid AL-Adah is a time for wishing one another well. Many Muslims in the United States celebrate Eid AL-Adah with prayers and social gatherings.
How did i celebrated my Eid ?
ANS :At chandraat i had mehindi at my hands and went to sleep praying that Eid would go fine this yea. Firstly I got up in the morning and left to offer the Eid prayer in the mosque, there was the whole arrangement for many people. After the prayer we greeted everybody Eid. Then my first thing I ate was the holy date, then my father decided to sacrifice the goats and then the camel finally after all those the one thing left was the cow , there so much blood everywhere and that brought terror and as every animal got sacrifice the blood got more and more. After all this sacrifice we distributed the meat to our maids and neighbors and the poor. The left over meat was given to the mosque in which we offer prayer every year. Then came a lot of guests and i enjoyed a lot with them, we prayed for each other.
The second day of Eid was also very busy, as i went to my aunts house and then my grandmother's house and then my father's sister came to our house.
The my grandmother went to her sister's house to give the share of meat. At the night my cousins came to our house and it was cold so we gad a bonfire with my family .
MY Eid was really very good and i enjoyed a lot with my family and when it was the time of school i was happy to meet my friends too .
